Attorney Christina M. Ewers is an associate on our asbestos team, focusing her practice on helping individuals and families affected by mesothelioma and other asbestos-related diseases.
In her role at SWMW Law, Christina is on the Discovery Team where she is involved in all stages of discovery, including reviewing discovery answers, analyzing liability angles, drafting and arguing motions, and preparing memoranda.
An empath at heart, Christina is deeply invested in the lives of her clients and committed to securing them the justice they deserve.
“I know my clients are facing some of the biggest and most detrimental situations of their lives,” she said. “It’s important they know they are not alone and that I’m there for them every step of the way. My clients are not ‘just another case’ to me, and I strive to be there for them in any way I can.”
Christina’s passion for helping others was ignited when she worked as an attorney in the Missouri State Public Defender System, providing legal representation to those who couldn’t otherwise afford it.
“I always knew I wanted to help people. More specifically, I wanted to fight for the ‘underdog’ and those most in need,” she said. “That desire was bolstered during my time in public defense and continues now that I’m with SWMW Law.”
Christina received her B.S. (cum laude) from Truman State University with a major in Psychology and minors in Justice Systems and Business Administration. She received her J.D. from the University of Missouri School of Law where she graduated in the top-20 percent of her class.
