Sophie’s practice is focused primarily on representing victims of asbestos-related illnesses. She represents a number of clients in both active litigation and administrative hearings. She takes on some of the nation’s largest corporations to hold them accountable for dangerous products they put on the market. Whether through written motions filed with the court or in arguments directly in front of a judge, she fights for clients’ rights to ensure their voices are heard. She is passionate about fighting for people who have been injured.
Prior to joining SWMW Law, Sophie practiced both asbestos and personal injury law and handled many cases from intake to settlement.
Sophie attended college at George Washington University where she graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Political Science. She then attended Saint Louis University School of Law where she earned her law degree with a concentration in Civil Litigation Skills. While in law school, she was active in Moot Court and Trial Advocacy competitions, as well as SLU’s student Environmental and Animal Law Group. At SLU’s Legal Clinic, Sophie also argued two unemployment benefits cases before the Southern and Eastern Districts of the Missouri Court of Appeals and secured a favorable opinion in the Eastern District.
Sophie is a St. Louis native and proud resident of south St. Louis City, where she lives with her husband Haden.
