The Up & Coming Awards recognize early-career attorneys who are making a positive difference in the practice of law in Missouri and whose outstanding contributions have them on the track for success. This year’s honorees will be recognized during an awards reception Oct. 12, as well as in a special section of Missouri Lawyers Weekly.
McIntosh joined the firm as an associate in 2022 after litigating cases on the civil-defense side for nearly a decade. Citing a desire to better utilize his talents to give a voice to those who are often unheard, he left his established practice to join SWMW Law and give the firm’s clients an advocate they could trust to secure the justice they deserve. In his current role, he works closely with clients to investigate and litigate their asbestos exposure cases to help maximize their recovery. Additionally, he is helping to spearhead case development efforts to protect consumers on a larger scale from unfair and deceptive business practices.
He graduated magna cum laude from the University of St. Thomas with a B.A. in Political Science and Spanish. He received his J.D. from the Saint Louis University School of Law with a concentration in Civil Litigation and received Academic Excellence awards in both Civil Practice and Founder’s Constitution. While in law school, he was also a member of the Jessup International Moot Court Team.
